STILL COVERED IN DUST AND GRIME AS WE FOUND IT AT A BROCANTE DEEP IN THE HEART OF RURAL SOUTH WEST FRANCE-IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED IN ANY WAY. DISPLAYS THE PATINA & CHARACTER OF A BYE-GONE AGE AND CAN BE CLEANED,PAINTED OR SIMPLY LEFT AS IT IS. LOVELY TYPICALLY FRENCH SCROLLED PATTERNING,THE GILT CAN BE SEEN BENEATH THE SURFACE. MEASURES 20.25 x 17.50 INCHES DIMENSION-INNER DIMENSION 13.75 x 16.50 INCHES AND IN GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING ITS' PROBABLE AGE-JUST A FEW TINY KNOCKS TO TWO OF THE DECORATIVE CORNERS-EASILY REPAIRED,& HARDLY DETRACTING.
